It is time to farewell one of the College's great supporters, Fr Tom Carroll, as he moves from St Aloysius, Cronulla to his new parish of St Finbar's, San Souci.
He will be greatly missed. Fr Tom regularly led our College Celebrations of the Eucharist, supported us on Retreats and shared in our social events.

Fr Tom was there to support us in times of loss, sensitively helping us celebrate the lives of those we have lost from our community. He led us on a number of Pilgrimages celebrating mass for our staff and teachers in Rome, Jerusalem and Paris as they traced the footsteps of Christ, the Apostles and our Founder St. John Baptist De La Salle.

Fr Tom was also a great patron of Sacred Arts commissioning our students and teachers to create a Nativity Scene for the Church as well as Icons for his beloved order of the Equestrian Knights of the Holy Sepulchre. He also commissioned our beautiful Madonna of Cronulla to hang over the St Aloysius baptismal font.

Fr Tom was also a great scholar and as such an example to our students and staff of life long academic devotion to learning.

While we will certainly miss Fr Tom, we welcome the return of Fr James Mc Carthy who was a deacon here at Cronulla  some years ago. The college is looking forward to working closely with him in supporting the spiritual growth of our students.
